After a difficult year we decided to wander down to Paul Ricard for a race in the French championship.
Friday, I set some good times dropping under the 1,40s however no live timing for that day
Saturday consisted of two 15-minute sessions in which I finished P1 with a 1:38:755 and P2 with a 1:38:500.
Qualifying was Sunday morning; I went out and managed to secure a P4 with a 1:37:850
Race 1: I got a good start keeping my P4 on the grid into Turn 1, I fought hard and passed the rider for 3rd place. But I still had time left so I pursued P2 in the hopes of catching him up in which I succeeded in doing. However, he decided to make it easy for myself and crashed out at turn 2. All I had to do now was finished the race. I finished P2, my first podium since 2023!!!! This result also meant I started P2 for race 2.
Race 2: I had a great start getting the whole shot!!, I lead for about 5 corners before being passed down the straight. I went back and forth with 1st however his pace was slightly superior to mine. 3rd place ended up passing me. I had a good battle with him, but I lost the front going into turn 1 and got caught up with a back marker dropping me back from him. I caught him up on the last corner of the last lap, but it wasn’t close enough to get him. Nonetheless I secured another podium once again finishing in P3.
