Donnington Park
Donnington was an interesting weekend, I struggled with cramp in my right leg making the bike difficult to ride. Practice went ok, I set some good times but still needed to find a little more for Qually. Unfortunately qualifying didn’t really go to plan resulting in me starting from P18 on the grid however I had 2 races to move up the field and the lap time of race 1 determines the grid for race 2.

Race 1: I got a good start but unfortunately the new fuel map we tried on the bike was actually slowing me down, fortunately after 2 laps I realised and switched it however the front had already broken away from me and my race was pretty much set.
Race 2: This time I got a bad start and got held up by another rider for 3 laps. once I got past there was a group in front of me and I caught them up after maybe 6 laps, however going into the Foggy Esses I clipped one of the riders and went in the grass. a disappointing end to the race however I set a PB time of 1:40:600 which I was happy with.

Silverstone
A tough weekend for sure. Struggling a lot with cramp in my right leg restricting movement on the
bike.
FP1 was written off due to a mechanical problem leaving me with FP2 as my only session before qualifying.
Qualifying was wet so the goal was to just ride and enjoy the wet.
Race 1: The beginning of the race was dry however it rained for the remainder of the race and we were on slicks. The grip was there but i struggled to get used to the conditions.
Race 2: once again about 10 minutes before the race it decided to rain and the race was declared wet. As a rider who is not so confident in the wet I ended up finishing P11 and stayed on the bike which many didn’t. I felt really good in the conditions and definitely boosted my confidence in
the wet.
Overall position wise my weekend wasn’t what I expected but I’m happy with the wet practice
was able to get as I will definitely need to ride in those conditions again this year.
